This KEENBEST sharpening stone set comes with a 400/1000 grit whetstone which is suitable for any daily sharpening, such as repairing the knives with big cutting edges, and a 3000/8000 grit whetstone which will help you to make the knives more smooth after using the 400/1000 grit.

Also includes a leather strop, a flattening stone, a wooden base, and an angle guide that could help you sharpen your knife more easily.

  1. I just did it for my first time with my pocket knife and it was good just don’t use the angle guide and make sure to use the leather

  2. These are total junk. The grit size isn’t even correct so you’ve got no idea what you’re actually using.

  3. Does the leather strop that comes with it need some kind of special compound or can I strop directly onto it? Thank you.

  4. What is the European alternative? I refuse to use products made by the Asians and the Americans.

  5. I’ve just ordered a similar set with the little white block of stone didn’t realise what that was for now I know it’s to keep the initial block flat

  6. why is the rubber on the guide split, it catches the stone and chips the corners just make it a one line

  7. Good set but there is no way the 8000 grit is 8000, the 1000 feels finer to touch… The way my fingers feel it is take at least a 0 off each number, the 3000 feels much coarser than the 1000 grit

  8. i used this to sharpen a hersheys bar and Holy Moly. now i can start cutting without removing chocolate from my diet
