I will never get tired of your hi-ya!s.
As for wobbly donuts use 3 instead of 4 feet. 3 feet will never wobble.
A note about the potato ricer. You can also use it to make spaetzle (german pasta, very good) and something else they do in Germany is they run vanilla ice cream through it and make something called "Spaghetti Ice".
Basically, you run vanilla ice cream through the ricer, that makes ice cream noodles. Then you put on a strawberry or cherry (normally strawberry) topping as the "sauce". If you want to get really fancy with it, you add crumbles of brownies as the "meatballs" and shaved white chocolate on top as the parm.
As a kid, it was literally something you could order from the ice cream truck.
German ice cream trucks were a lot different than american ones. 😛
If you would have put the silicone feet on evenly then the stands might not have rocked so much.
My wife using the potatoe ricer for Norwegian lefse
For an elderly person the ricer maybe a little bit to much to handle
I’m fascinated by how many different store-brand versions of canned goods you have. I noticed Amazon, Safeway, Kroger, and Wal-Mart. It makes me wonder just how many different grocery stores you go to (or what food bank you’re raiding to do these reviews).
I love my tater ricer. Can also be used to juice lemons.
Cuts from bagel slicing are one of the leading causes of visits to emergency rooms. It really is a legit problem for many people.
@ 3:12 funny…."we are on a ROLL here….." good one !!
Just rice the butter too in the mashed potatoes
The potatoes ricer is an old item, the donut stand is dumb
why would i boil plastic?
Potato ricer: How Italian grandmas make gnocchi 🥔
I had my grandmother’s ricer. I have used it over the years, and it made beautiful riced potatoes. However, it was not dishwasher proof. So, I bought a new and improved one, that is dishwasher safe. Larger (so you need strong hands. It has holes down three sides, but it doesn’t seem to rice as finely as grandma’s. It will rice many other things.
I do think I prefer the old style like you were using
You don’t have enough water for your pasta, mamna mia
with the doghnut one, to be far if you had a party you could just use 1 stand for 1 kind of doughnut 4 stands for kinds of doughnut
Kinda cheating using boneless bagels aren’t ya? Wouldn’t work for my kitchen.
5:24 😂 The complaint about lumpy texture is people eating riced potatoes as mashed potatoes. If you want them fully mashed, you have 1 extra step that’s been massively simplified
I have a Rubber Made potato ricer. It is plastic, but it comes with 4 cutting plates.
I have the khun rikon
Multi tin opener
Best one out there in my opinion.
👍
"How to turn a paper towel holder into a donut stand".
Boiling a piece of chinese plastic in with your food……
It’s a giant cancer flavored bullion cube!🤢
Battery acid pasta… YUM~!!
can opener not good for left handers.
Plastic in boiling water 🤦♀️ dumb
Should have tried a small can of tomato paste on the can opener.
3:11 "on a roll here." Actually a roll doesnt appear till 3:39 nice try James.
We’ve had several of those bagel cutters over the years. They work great when new, but after a few months, the blade dulls, and they just squash the bread instead of cutting it. I have never found a way to sharpen the blades – the blade holder can’t be disassembled (probably an important safety feature) so have reverted to using a bread knife. A shame, because they do work really well when sharp.
That potato ricer is not so great if you have smaller hands. Also not ideal for people with arthritis. I own one that’s recommended on Americas Test Kitchen.
Looks like the pasta timer was swimming with the fishes 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟☠️😂😂😂😂😂
But…donut stacker…WHHHYYYYY?!
I have small hands and a ricer isn’t that comfortable. I use a food mill instead. Same idea
11:11 I’m reminded of the joke about the most popular guy in the nudist camp being the one who could carry two cups of coffee and half a dozen donuts……
I have a potato masher from the 50’s. It is nice smooth potatos.
I hope the FDA or someone puts an end to Al Dente swiftly. Im sure putting a plastic electronic device with a battery in it cant be great for you. I would also question the safety of the materials used in its production. If they cant get the timer part to work properly I doubt they put much effort into any other part of the device since it being a timer is the main purpose. If you cant make the timer part work right that definitely means it is low quality sonce you can buy a fully functional and accurate timer for less than ¢50 all day long. If they messed up the timer part I cant imagine what else they screwed up. Im sure that thing isn’t sealed properly so not only could water get inside and damage the electronics and contaminate your food but also water would get trapped inside causing cold and then further contaminating your food. Batteries, circuit componets, and solder can also contain products that can be harmful if consumed and could even potentially contain lead or other heavy meatsls. That being said micro plastics are the least of my concern but another concern nonetheless. Not to mention the plastics may be leaching compounds into your pasta without the help of the other internal components.
That potato ricer is not new. I have one from the 70s at home and it still work
So many can openers so little time. My wife and I have difficulties with our grip and we need the easiest opener. Each and every time we try one it seems we find the can with some sort of defect and they either don’t open all the way and you have to use a fork to pry it up while hoping not to cut yourself.
Did you just cook a battery with your pasta? What a strange device.
Donut tower needs a flathead screw and/or taller feet.
Car can opener…….
Nice.
Needs a horn.
Haha the Al Dente’s math was done by Future Unschoolers of the World
Bagel cutter is a must. My friend cut a bagel in his hand, and severed nerves.
Did you wash the al dante before putting it in the pasta? How did it go with those holes in the product?
The donut stand reminds me of T-Bo from iCarly 😂
I have that potato ricer and it works okay, also i like the skin on my potatoes so thats a no go.
al dente > airpods
The timer is 3 minutes off because boiling your electronics will mess with the clock…
13:00 just what I want to eat donuts that somebody had their hands all over and have fun with those jelly filled donuts that’s going to be a mess lol.
the bagel cutter i think could be good for old people. depending how much force to push the knife down.
the potato snow thing is genius. there are some similar that are too cheap made to thin materials. avoid them. this one seems to be very good. remember to ad milk and butter. and boil the potatoes without salt.
the donought holder. . ? never ever. it is much easyer to put them in a plate. in stead off haveing another useless item takeing up space .
the spaghetti guy. . never !! i have 3 kitchen stop watch , set to different time. the times i use the most. one permant on 12 minuts for rice ans some pasta. one on 9 minuts for the normal spaghetti. one on 6 minuts for the morning egg.
my wife and I swear by the ricer. There is no way to get it anywhere near as lump free as with a ricer. Used mixers, mashers, and blenders, only the ricer is sufficient.
Also, I wanna see a can opener where you put it on the edge and just squeeze a leverage handle to turn the crank.
